Dance Tutus
Dance tutus are some of the most classic and famous pieces of dance clothing ever. They are beautiful, and always lend their beauty and grace to the dancer, instead of the other way around. There are different kinds of tutus for different roles and ages.
Generally tutus are attached to a camisole or leotard of some sort. There are tutus that just have straps across the shoulders, but there are also ones with sleeves or a halter-top. The type of tutu that comes on these can vary as well.
Your average tutu sticks out from the waist and drops a bit under its own weight. “Classic” styled tutus are generally calf-length, and can have just a few layers of material, or many. Russian style tutus showcase a more rigid fabric that is only a few layers thick that sticks almost straight out from the dancer’s body.
